Session 3-🏈 Summer camp this upcoming week 7/13-17.

There will also be a FOOTBALL Interest Meeting on
Friday 7/17 in the Auditorium.

If your athlete does NOT have a current Physical, please make sure that a physical is completed and all paperwork has been uploaded into AKTIVATE.

Deerlake PTO is planning to warmly welcome our amazing teachers and staff back to school in August. Each year, we host a breakfast and a luncheon and share small welcome back gifts for the teachers and also provide our teachers with a delicious dinner for their families to ease the stress of the first week of school.

If you would like to support the PTO and give back to our amazing teachers and administration and staff, we are collecting donations to help towards the cost of these activities. Any amount is greatly appreciated!

Our students worked incredibly hard to earn another 'A' grade from the Florida Department of Education, and we couldn’t be prouder! This achievement is a true team effort. LCS utilizes Aktivate for Middle School Sports Registration. All players MUST have a COMPLETE registration in Aktivate in order to participate. Use the attached instructions for information on how to register your child for Athletics at Deerlake.

Please remember that a *current sports physical is required in order to participate in any sport. A blank copy of that physical is attached, however most doctor offices have the form. Only page four needs to be included with the registration. Please check individual athletic webpages for additional information and tryout forms.

*physicals are good for one year from the date signed by the physician

The Deerlake Middle School Cross Country Team is looking for 20 boys and 20 girls to join our 2026 season!

Optional Pre-Tryout Workouts & Course Practice

📅 Monday, August 3 – Wednesday, August 5, 2026
⏰ 7:45 AM – 8:45 AM

These sessions are highly recommended for anyone interested in trying out. Athletes will have the opportunity to learn the course, practice pacing, and prepare for tryouts.
