The LCS Transition Program's mission is to help young adults with disabilities secure employment. Employment is a huge focus of the LCS Transition Program.
The LCS Transition Program is for young adults ages 18-22 who have graduted from a Leon County High School with an Access Point Diploma. We aim to teach employbility skills, social skills, and independent living skills to create thriving members of our community. We have moved to our new campus! The LCS Transition Program is now located at Ghazvini Learning Center located at 854/860 Blountstown Street!
We are busy unpacking and getting our new spaces set up. We canβt wait to see everyone at Orientation on Friday, August 7th from 11:00am-12:00pm. ππ

District offices and schools will be closed on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth. All school sites and district offices will reopen for business on Monday, June 22, 2026.

We enjoyed our annual cookout to celebrate the end of the school year! We played kickball, basketball, in the sprinkler, cheered, danced and just enjoyed our time together!
Later in the week our students had the opportunity to roast a staff member. π

We celebrated 20 of our LCS Transition Program Completers on Monday, 5/18/26 during our Program Completion Ceremony.
