The Summer Session A prorated seventh-week session deadline is May 29. This means it is the last day to:
-Submit form requesting S/U grading or to change S/U option back to regular grade.
-Reduce course load without permission of academic dean. Dean’s permission required to drop below minimum hours.
-Drop a class without receiving a grade.
-Withdraw from school without receiving a grade.

The fifth day of the term is May 15. This means it is the last day to:
-Submit waivers or billings
-Request VA deferments from VA representative in Student Veterans Affairs
-Submit waivers or billings for disbursement of financial aid
Additionally, the summer-only health insurance waiver window closes.
All students using financial aid must check their financial aid status at my.fsu.edu

-Add a class without academic dean’s permission
-Cancel enrollment and have fees removed
-Drop/add classes and have fees adjusted
Reminder that Drop/Add ends at 11:59 p.m., and students are liable for all fees for classes remaining on their schedules at 11:59 p.m.

-Petition academic dean for a reduction in course load
-Officially withdraw from the University
-Apply for AA Degree at the Office of Undergraduate Studies, UCA 3400
Additionally, veterans’ deferments expire; full tuition payment must be received to avoid a late payment fee
