We had a wonderful time yesterday celebrating our Class of 2026 graduates at Lavender Celebration, in partnership with the FSU Pride Student Union!!

This event was a powerful reminder of what we can create together when we show up for one another and for the FSU LGBTQ+ community.

A special thank you to Dr. Harry Barbee, Chair of the Programming Committee, for their leadership and for serving with care by placing stoles on our graduates, Janel Diaz for being a persistent advocate of the Tallahassee LGBTQ+ community and delivering an impactful keynote speech, and to Donald Post for his visionary leadership as our founding president and for delivering engaging and insightful closing remarks for the ceremony.
Thank you to the FSU Alumni Association team for providing the resources and support to promote alumni involvement on campus, to FSU Student Affairs for creating spaces that support student success and providing resources and support to make events like these happen, and thank you to the Pride Student Union for championing student identities, amplifying student voices, and uplifting the community of FSU.

Lavender Celebration was more than a ceremony; it was a reflection of the love, pride, and power of the FSU q***r community.
