Let's hear it for our Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Jessica Horn, a Volleyball Player at St. Johns River State College!

Jessica achieved excellence in the classroom while navigating both the indoor and beach volleyball campaigns for the Vikings, graduating from SJR State with a perfect 4.0 as a Pre-Med major. She was the recipient of the Roberta Stokes Award, presented to the FCSAA's top volleyball scholar-athlete. She helped SJR State to the 2025 FCSAA DII Championship and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. She earned First-team All-America honors in 2025 as well as First-team All-Academic honors, and was a member of the SJR State Chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Pi Beta Kappa. Jessica will continue her academic and athletic careers at Palm Beach Atlantic University this fall.

Congratulations to our Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Kustarr Webb, a Baseball Player at Polk State College!

Kustarr recently completed his A.A. degree at Polk State College in May 2026 with a perfect 4.0 GPA, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He was the 2026 recipient of the Bill Tuten Award, which is presented to the FCSAA's top baseball scholar-athlete. He also earned Male Athlete of the Year honors from Polk State in 2026. Kustarr was a two-year starter for the Eagles, batting .479 as a freshman before batting through an injury-plagued 2026 season. He finished his sophomore campaign with five home runs and 37 RBI and was Polk State's Team Captain. Off the field, he read to and mentored elementary students in the local schools, participated in numerous camps and clinics for the local community as well as the MLK Parade and City of Winter Haven Christmas Parade. Kustarr will continue his academic and athletic careers at Bethune-Cookman University this fall.

Help us congratulate our Female Athlete of the Year, Luyeisy Marquez-Moreno from Miami Dade College!

Luyeisy is a Volleyball Player from Port St. Lucie, FL. She earned the following honors during her sophomore season: 2025 NJCAA Division I Player of the Year, 2025 NJCAA Division I First-team All-America, 2025 FCSAA Division I Player of the Year, and 2025 Division I All-FCSAA. She led Miami Dade to the 2025 NJCAA Division I National Championship and was named the NJCAA tournament's Most Valuable Player. Luyeisy also led Miami Dade to the 2025 FCSAA Division I Championship. Her average stats for the 2025 season were 3.8 kills, 2.8 digs, 0.3 assists, 0.5 blocks, and 0.4 service aces.

It's time to celebrate our winners of the FCSAA Annual Athletics Awards! First up is our Male Athlete of the Year, Trent Lincoln from Gulf Coast State College!

Trent is a Basketball Player from Baltimore, MD. During his sophomore year, he received the following honors: 2026 NJCAA Division I First-team All-America, 2026 FCSAA Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Year, 2026 DI All-FCSAA, and 2026 FCSAA DI All-Tournament Team. Trent helped Gulf Coast State advance to the semifinals of the NJCAA DI Men's Basketball Championship and averaged 19.4 points. 4.5 rebounds and 6.1 assists during the 2025-26 season.

"Trent is a tremendous basketball talent who was truly our team leader. His outstanding work ethic combined with his physical ability made him an elite Junior College basketball player. We wish him well at TCU and believe he is more than ready to compete at a high level in the Big 12." - Mike Kandler, Director of Athletics, Gulf Coast State College

Congratulations to our winner of the Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete Award, Kyle Bernardo from Daytona State College!

Kyle is from Orlando, FL, and graduated from Daytona State in December 2025 with High Honors. He achieved a 3.97 GPA and multiple President's List recognitions. Kyle helped the Falcons claim the FCSAA Championship in 2025, eventually advancing to the NJCAA National Championship match. He overcame personal challenges during high school, proving that his journey is not defined by early setbacks but by how he overcame them. He is considered a role model for his peers and a young man whose story will continue to inspire others. Kyle earned a scholarship to the University of Albany, where he will continue his academic and athletic careers this fall.
