Surprise!!! A routine meeting of the Florida House of Representatives’ Justice Budget Subcommittee turned into a celebration Wednesday as the group acknowledged Dean Thomas Blomberg’s decades of research and public service in criminal justice education. alumna Rep. Kimberly Daniels the ranking Democratic member on the subcommittee, offered heartfelt thanks for the impact Blomberg had on her life and commended his lifetime of work and profound impact in the field. Jeanine Blomberg joined her husband and Commissioner Mark Glass, also an alum, made a special trip to join in the festivities.
