The TOMProject is a student-led initiative in honor of late FSU student, Taluwani “Tom” Idowu, and is coming back to campus to increase heart health awareness, provide free EKG testing to students, and inform the community of the necessary steps to take during these emergencies.

Campus Recreation is proud to be partnering with The TOMProject to provide FREE hands-only CPR classes to teach the skills needed to assist during a cardiac emergency. If you are interested in learning more and want to be more knowledgeable in case of emergency, don’t hesitate to register for a class through RecConnect under Aquatic Programs!

If you know how to Olympic lift but haven't been approved to do it at Leach, now's your chance! We're holding Olympic Lifting Skills Tests through the rest of the semester. These sessions are for patrons with prior Olympic Lifting experience who have not yet passed the Olympic Lifting Skills Test. The session will briefly go over the Clean, Jerk, and Sn**ch, and participants will then perform all three lifts for the opportunity to be approved for Olympic lifting. OL Skills Test sessions will meet in the Leach Center Atrium.

Registration opens 4 days prior to the session, are available on:
Mondays | 10am and 2pm
Tuesdays | 9:30am
Wednesdays | 10am and 10:30am
Thursdays | 12pm and 3pm
