Last week we had not 1, not 2 but 3 of our sweet teachers graduate. Zharia, Kaylah and Zoey we are SO proud of you!! ❤️📚🎓 Please leave some encouraging words for them below in the comments. Working and going to school isn’t easy. But they did amazing!

Our Christmas Mission Project this year is the Methodist Children’s Home. Please consider taking one or more tags. Picking up the item, return it WITH THE TAG no later than Dec. 12th. Wrapped is helpful but not required. See Ms Amanda if you have any questions. ❤️🎄❤️

Good Samaritan Academy opens and closes with Leon County Schools emergency schedule.
Leon County Schools have announced closure for tomorrow, 11/10/22 due to approaching storm Nicole. At this time we plan to reopen on Friday 11/11/22, however, watch our page for updates.

It's time for our Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest!!! 🎃 The pumpkin with the most votes (likes, loves, etc) on this post by this Sunday, 10/30 at 7pmwill win a prize. Our “Coins for Cancer” buckets are hungry. Your kiddos will be coming home searching for coins to place in their classroom bucket. Help them do good in the world. And let’s do our part to find a cure. . . 💓

Our School Resource Deputies are raising funds for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Leon this year for the 6th annual Patrol Stroll:ALLin for a Cure event! Featured today is Deputy Dehner with Swift Creek. The deputy with the most funds raised will appear in the finale of this one of a kind, First Responder fashion show on October 20th! Today we had Dr. Brittany visit. She read the children a book, shared her stethoscope and talked about what happens at doctor visits. So thankful she could come out.
We have had a lot of fun with all the community helpers that have visited over the last 2 weeks.

Our visitor today was Leon County EMS. Thanks for coming out and sharing with our children about what you do. They loved visiting the inside of the truck, seeing the lights and most of all the sirens. ❤️

Today Leon County Sheriff's Office brought Mr. McGruff by to talk about safety with our children. ❤️

Yesterday we had U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Lake Seminole join us to share information about being a Park Ranger. They shared about different animals and water safety. The children really enjoyed their visit. ❤️

Today we received not one but two sweet treats for our amazing teachers to enjoy. Thank you so much for thinking of us.

City of Tallahassee Fire Department joined us today. They are the first of several community helpers that will be visiting us over the next two weeks. ❤️

VPK parents will have a very important parent meeting in the Sanctuary starting promptly at 5pm.
