Thank you Melissa and Childbirth Educators of Tallahassee, I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed and benefited from the weekend class we took. I had NO idea going into it what it would be like and I'm beyond grateful that we had the opportunity to attend. Melissa is phenomenal, so passionate about what she does and unbelievably kind. There is so much uncertainty when you've never been through this process before (not to mention trying to process all of this information with a constant surge of hormones) and now we feel much better prepared and empowered for what is on the horizon. I would highly recommend this class for anyone expecting, it's not your typical class...It's engaging, encouraging, informational, reassuring, empowering, practical and so helpful. It's laid back without sacrificing content - and that's a very hard balance to achieve. I can't say enough good things - thank you so much Melissa!!!

It's warming up outside, how are you planning to stay cool this summer? "There's so much I love about the summer—giant slices of watermelon, late nights on the porch and 4th of July gatherings, to name a few. It’s all the best. Truly, the brightest of the whole year. Except when summer falls during your third trimester. Then, then it’s a whole new ball game, focused on eating ice chips and battling swollen ankles while counting down to fall."

Cheers to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Women's Pavillion for saving a few spots for mamas in labor and their families!

When you're in labor, finding a parking spot is the last thing you want to worry about - as it should be!

That's why we're proud to introduce reserved “Mothers in Labor” parking spots at our Women’s Pavilion. These easily accessible 30-minute spots allow moms in labor (and any loved ones who may have arrived with them) to park and check in to the Women’s Pavilion more seamlessly.
