It's been a great 21 years as a Lamaze International Certified Educator! I took my Lamaze training workshop as part of the DONA International conference in 2004; and it's been life & career changing ever since. From large groups in large spaces, to private classes for individuals, it's always an honor to help people become parents! Lamaze International and my fellow educators have made considerable impact on maternal and infant health, and I'm thrilled to say, Happy Birthday, Lamaze! Thank you for all you do for families.

Taking a breastfeeding class before the arrival of your baby can make a BIG difference in your comfort and confidence as you begin your infant feeding journey! It also helps you become more aware of what resources are available, so you know how to get help if you need it after the baby arrives! We recommend that all parents take this course to !
North Florida Women's Care offers breastfeeding classes for expecting or new moms on the third Wednesday of each month.
The next class will be held in the OB lobby (floor 2) on December 18th, from 6 to 8 PM. This is an excellent opportunity to get expert guidance and support for your breastfeeding journey. The class is free, and all you have to do is let us know you're coming by emailing [email protected].

We have some space open for our December Online Childbirth Class! This is a live online experience with our education, Melissa and are interactive, educational, and a little FUN. One of the great outcomes of live online learning is that people can login from ANYWHERE!

Our classes are intended to prepare parents-to-be for the entire birth experience. It is our goal at CET to help introduce parents to the normal process of labor and birth and to the many choices in childbirth that they have available. Our classes are designed to not only help families learn about the basics of the birth process, but to also help them feel more comfortable and equipped for the journey.
Our classes are interactive and feature a variety of teaching methods including discussion, small group activity, videos and more. We work hard to make classes an enjoyable experience for all.
Times and Location
Classes are conveniently located in the lobby of North Florida Women’s Care (1401 Centerville Rd #202, Tallahassee, FL 32308) and are offered on various nights through the week (M-TH). We also offer a 2-day weekend course and a 4-series(2/2) class 2 nights a week for 2 weeks. The class series includes a hospital tour, with the opportunity become more comfortable with the TMH labor and delivery unit.
Fees
The cost for our prepared childbirth class series is $120. Fees include a ticket into a class series for birthing mom and partner. Registration is available directly on the website, www.tallybirthclass.com.
