Congrats to our Associate Professor Tian Tang, Ph.D., on being part of a research team receiving a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency!
A Florida State University research team received a nearly quarter-million-dollar grant from the Environmental Protection Agency to help Southeast Florida advance local action on climate change mitigation and adaptation.
The team includes State University Department of Urban and Regional Planning - DURP Associate Professors Tisha Holmes, Ph.D., and Kerry Fang, Ph.D., and Askew School at FSU Associate Professor Tian Tang, Ph.D.
The team will work with local governments and stakeholders to assess the potential impacts that greenhouse gas emissions measures have on the disadvantaged communities in Southeast Florida.
“The FSU team’s tasks are particularly important because the low-income and disadvantaged communities that are most vulnerable to climate change impacts have been left behind by many climate policies,” Dr. Tang shared.
