ties. Founded by Mandi Broadfoot and Juliet Yaques, both mothers of children with autism, Making Light was created with a simple belief: the arts belong to everyone. Our programs include acting, musical theatre, dance, voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, art, accessible productions, sensory-friendly performances, and vocational opportunities for adults with disabilities. Making Light students and teams have been recognized at regional and national competitions, including Broadway Cup honors for musical theatre, vocal performance, acting, and song and dance. Whether a student is stepping onstage for the first time, building skills in a private lesson, joining a camp, or preparing for a production, Making Light provides a welcoming place to learn, create, and shine.
