CCS staff are always hard at work during the summer, and one of our major projects this year is enhancing the security of our campus. A key part of that effort is creating a more secure main entrance for our students, families, staff, and visitors.
And now you know why today is demolition day! 🚧🔨
We’re excited to take this important step toward making our campus even safer and look forward to sharing updates as the project progresses.

The perfect ending to a fantastic Kindergarten year! Students celebrated with bubbles, water games, bounce houses, and plenty of smiles as they marked the conclusion of a year full of learning and growth. We wish our families a safe and happy summer. ☀️💦🫧🏰

Before the end of the school year, our 4th graders explored two important ELA concepts: idioms and the use of quotation marks in dialogue. To reinforce these skills—and have a little fun along the way—each student was assigned an idiom, wrote a short dialogue using it correctly, and dressed up to represent its meaning. Can you guess the idioms?!

Our 5th graders have officially walked out of elementary school and crossed over to "the other side of the oak"!
They wrapped up an unforgettable final year with a pizza party and their state project exhibition.
We truly cannot wait to see what wonderful things God has in store for each and every one of them as they step into middle school!

Happy Retirement to the incredible Mrs. Lawson Smith!
After years of faithfully serving in education, Mrs. Smith is stepping into a well-deserved new chapter. Throughout her career, she has shown so many of us what it truly means to lead with excellence, serve with kindness, and reflect Christ-like character in everything she does. Her impact reaches far beyond the workplace, and the lives she’s touched over the years are a beautiful testament to that.
Mrs. Smith, thank you for your dedication, wisdom, and the love you poured into your work and into others. You will be deeply missed, but we are so excited for all that retirement holds for you!
As we celebrate Mrs. Smith, we are also thrilled to welcome Mrs. Suzanne Watson into this role! Mrs. Watson brings incredible talent, experience, and heart, and we are excited to see all the wonderful things ahead for educational services under her leadership.
Congratulations, Mrs. Lawson Smith, and welcome, Mrs. Suzanne Watson! 🎉✨

We are incredibly grateful for our 8th graders and all they have accomplished throughout this school year! From academic achievements to personal growth, it has been a joy to watch each student learn, lead, and shine. We pray they continue to walk confidently in the plans God has for them as they prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
