Cancer impacts us all at some point and has really hit home at Killearn Lakes TaeKwonDo. Master Marky is a cancer survivor, both his parents had cancer, Betty’s brother passed away from lung cancer and at least two instructors have had cancer. We wanted to do a special shirt with Breast Cancer awareness month coming up, so we designed this special shirt. $5.00 from each shirt and belt will be donated for Cancer treatment at the THM Cancer center. The pink belt may be worn the entire month of October. Killearn Lakes TaeKwonDo will match it up to $150.00. All orders must be picked up at Killearn Lakes TaeKwonDo at 6808 Thomasville Rd, Suite #107.

Here’s how your contributions make a difference:

In 2025, community donations made PET scans, MRIs and other imaging services possible for more than 80 uninsured cancer patients.

Many patients travel long distances to Tallahassee for treatment. Donor contributions provide gas cards, transportation, and lodging for patients and their caregivers. Between October 2025 and July 2026, generous community support provided over 300 hotel nights for patients.

In 2023, the TMH Foundation invested $2 million to help purchase a $4-million Varian Edge Linear Accelerator, bringing the most advanced radiation technology to our community.
The Tallahassee Memorial Cancer Center diagnoses and treats more than 2,000 new cancer cases each year. Thank you for generously supporting these patients, their families, and TMH!
