Her research,“Empowering African-American Communities through Diabetes Education and Weight Management Interventions,” highlights the power of education, advocacy, and culturally competent care in improving health outcomes within our communities.🔬🩺

Our Level 3 BSN students teamed up with Respiratory Therapy students from the School of Allied Health Sciences for a hands-on “mock code” in the School of Nursing simulation lab—preparing for real-life moments that matter most.💪🏽✨

Through interprofessional simulation, students sharpen communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills to improve patient outcomes—all under the guidance of expert faculty observing every move.🩺🏥
