Gov. Rick Scott has directed the closure of all public schools, state colleges, state universities and state offices from Friday to Monday. Scott said the closures will ensure every space is available for sheltering and staging during Hurricane Irma.

The latest news from Governor Scott is that Hurricane Irma has taken a westward turn.
He has declared that ALL FLORIDA SCHOOLS WILL CLOSE. Magnolia Preschool is CLOSED FRIDAY AND MONDAY... or until further notice.

We plan on being open Friday.

If Leon County Schools closes due to the hurricane, we will also close.

We will remain open this afternoon. Parents please be watchful with the approaching storm, and be prepared to pick up your child early if possible. We will be tucked safely inside, of course. But you never know when the power will go out.
