A huge thank you to DJ Demp for stopping by the Institute for Music Business and pouring into our young producers! ๐ŸŽง๐ŸŽถ

Not only did he take time to listen, provide valuable feedback, and share industry knowledge, but he also brought along some sugar-free gummy bear snacks that were a hit with the students.

Moments like these remind us how powerful mentorship can be when professionals invest their time and experience in the next generation.

We appreciate your encouragement, wisdom, and willingness to help our young creatives sharpen their craft.

Thank you for helping us build the future of music, one producer/DJ at a time! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Drawing more than 100 attendees from eight states, the IMB Music Business Conference brought artists, entrepreneurs, students, and industry professionals to Tallahassee for three days of networking, one-on-one speed coaching with 15 coaches, a producer beat battle, songwriter and artist lock-ins, the WOMB Catalyst Awards, and youth workforce development programming through the IMB Youth Digital Music Showcase.

The last few days have been quite a whirlwind!

Thank you to our amazing sponsors, volunteers and community partners ๐Ÿ’

May is National Foster Care Month ๐Ÿ’™

At the Institute for Music Business, we recognize the incredible strength, resilience, creativity, and potential of youth aging out of foster care transitioning into adulthood.

Every young person deserves the opportunity to be seen, heard, supported, and equipped for a successful future.

Through our Music for Life program, we are committed to creating safe spaces where young people can discover their voice, build confidence, develop career skills, and explore pathways in music, media, entrepreneurship, and the creative industries.

To every young person navigating lifeโ€™s challenges: your story matters, your gifts matter, and your future is full of possibility. ๐ŸŽถโœจ
