🌞📚 Welcome to Summer VPK & Bridge! 📚🌞

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming our youngest learners and their families to Summer VPK & Bridge Orientation! Families had the opportunity to meet staff, explore classrooms, learn about daily routines, connect with community partners, and get excited about the amazing summer ahead.

From building new friendships to strengthening early literacy and school readiness skills, our Summer VPK & Bridge programs are designed to help children grow with confidence as they prepare for their next educational journey.

A special thank you to our dedicated Early Learning team, school staff, and community partners who helped make today’s event a success. We can’t wait to see our students learning, exploring, and thriving this summer!

Leon County Schools Department of Early Learning is looking for an incredible Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a 12-month Diagnostician position! 🍎

This role is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on our youngest learners by supporting Pre-K and Pre-K ESE students across district and community settings. The position includes:
✔️ Conducting developmental, educational, speech, and language evaluations
✔️ Supporting eligibility, placement, and instructional planning
✔️ Providing speech and language therapy services
✔️ Collaborating with families, teachers, and community agencies
✔️ Coaching and supporting instructional staff through training and workshops

We’re looking for someone passionate about early childhood development, communication supports, and helping young learners thrive.
