Guess what, Letter A… we started learning a new letter today, one you like to join with to make words. We met Letter T! The A says /a/, the T says /t/…. We join them together and we make the word “at.”

We don’t learn our letters in the typical order at TADA Preschool. Letters and sounds are the building blocks to the words we will learn to read. Each letter we learn will join with the previous letters to form new words. “At” is a word family and with it comes so many new words like bat, cat, fat, mat and rat.

Today we sponge painted turtle shells! Turtle starts with the /t/ sound! Learning letters and their sounds is so exciting!!! 🐊 🐢
