The TMH Behavioral Health Center (BHC) enjoyed hosting Florida State University College of Music students who completed their spring music therapy practicum with us. 馃幐

Pamela Dunblazier, Callan Downing and Amber Smylie cultivated clinical skills and provided excellent patient care during their time at BHC. Each week as part of their internship, they provided two hours of indirect and direct patient care at BHC. 馃幎

Music therapy has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, improve quality of life, improve coping skills and many other benefits for patients.

We are grateful for such amazing interns and our partnership with FSU Music Therapy. Interested in interning with us? Reach out to Julie Avirett by email for an application at [email protected].
