Today, the Florida A&M University National Alumni Association honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. As we gather with family and friends today, may we also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and honor those who gave their all for our freedoms.
We remember. We honor. We thank you. 🇺🇸

Florida A&M University extends our deepest condolences to the students, families, faculty, and staff of our FAMU Developmental Research School on the sudden passing of Dr. Pink Hightower.
As secondary school principal at FAMU DRS, Dr. Hightower was an educator of deep conviction who guided and uplifted the students in his care and strengthened the school community he loved. His loss is felt well beyond DRS, and the entire University grieves alongside them — and stands ready to support the DRS community in the days ahead.
We ask you to lift up Dr. Hightower’s family and loved ones in prayer, along with all others who mourn him. ~ President Marva B. Johnson, J.D.
