What a fun way to wrap up a great week at Kiamichi Tech! Our students got the chance to roll lemons and win some prizes during break time.

We love using our break times as an opportunity for students to have fun, relax, connect with one another, and learn the importance of networking and building relationships along the way.

Sometimes the best connections happen outside the classroom and we’re all about creating a campus where students feel like they belong.

The Journey to LPN Starts Here!

We are so excited for our Practical Nursing students as they begin the challenging and rewarding journey ahead! The LPN program is rigorous, but we know this group is ready to work hard, grow together, and gain the skills and confidence needed to make a difference in the lives of others.

As they take on long days, lots of studying, hands-on learning, and new challenges, we want them to know that their Kiamichi Tech family is behind them every step of the way!

Skills That Go Beyond the Classroom!

Mrs. Hulsey has our students hard at work on their Microburst certifications, building the soft skills that can give them the upper hand when they enter the workforce!

Today’s activity focused on good work ethic and the impact that just one negative attitude can have on an entire team. Students had the opportunity to see firsthand why showing up with the right attitude, being dependable, and working well with others are just as important as having strong technical skills.

At Kiamichi Tech, we’re preparing students for more than just a job, we’re preparing them to be the kind of employees employers want on their team! 💪

When Life Gives You Lemons, We Give You Tacos! 🌮🍋

That’s a wrap on our Made for More Welcome Week! We finished the week the best way we know how with walking tacos, lots of laughs, and time together! 💛

Our Welcome Week is about so much more than the treats and activities. Each day is intentionally designed to give our students a chance to connect, build relationships, work as a team within their programs, and feel like they belong from the very beginning.
Whether they were grabbing fresh lemonade, competing in Lemon Limbo, enjoying pancakes, or building the perfect walking taco, our goal was simple: start the year by building a campus community where every student feels welcomed, supported, and excited about what’s ahead.

Because learning a skill is only part of the journey. Building confidence, teamwork, friendships, and a sense of purpose matters too.

We’re ready for a great year because our students are MADE FOR MORE! 💙💚

We’re keeping our back-to-school week sweet at Kiamichi Tech!

Today, students put their guessing skills to the test with our “How Many Lemonheads?” challenge for a chance to win a prize! And because every great week needs a cool treat, we handed out popsicles at break!

It’s been a week full of laughs, friendly competition, and making memories as we kick off a brand-new school year.

One thing is for sure our students are Made for More than just sitting in a classroom! They’re made for learning, connecting, experiencing, and having a little fun along the way.

We kept the back-to-school fun going today with pancakes and Lemon Limbo! 🍋

Our students fueled up with a pancake breakfast and then found out just how low they could go during Lemon Limbo!

A little fun, a lot of laughs, and another reminder that this year is all about making connections, trying new things, and squeezing the most out of every opportunity.
