Kyden Cunningham has already established himself as a rising star in the auction industry and is the very definition of what the Bob Steffes Rising Star Award represents. His passion, work ethic, character, and commitment to the profession have him strapped to a rocket ship with an incredibly bright future ahead.

Congratulations to Kyden on being named the 2026 Bob Steffes Rising Star Award recipient at the International Auctioneer Championship. 🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day, and Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸

From all of us at Oklahoma Auction School, we wish you and your family a safe, joyful, and memorable Fourth of July!

Today we celebrate far more than fireworks and cookouts. We celebrate 250 years of freedom, opportunity, and the American spirit. We are incredibly grateful to live in a country where hard work, entrepreneurship, and service to others are possible because generations before us fought to protect those freedoms.

As auctioneers, we have the privilege of bringing people together, helping communities grow, supporting nonprofits, and serving others through one of America’s oldest and greatest professions. Every chant, every handshake, every auction, and every opportunity to give back is made possible because we live in the land of the free.

Today, we honor the brave men and women who have defended our nation, those who believed in the principles our country was founded upon, and everyone who has worked to preserve the Constitution and the freedoms we enjoy each day. Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to pursue our dreams and serve others with purpose.

As you celebrate with family and friends, take a moment to reflect on how blessed we are to call this nation home.

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible fathers, grandfathers, mentors, coaches, teachers, and father figures who make a difference every single day.

Anyone can be a dad, but it takes someone special to be a father.

Today, we celebrate the men who have invested their time, wisdom, patience, and love into the lives of others. We honor the fathers who have led their families with strength and integrity, the men who stepped up when there wasn’t a father present, and those who chose to mentor, encourage, and guide the next generation.

The auction industry has always been built on relationships, tradition, and the passing of knowledge from one generation to the next. Many of us learned not only how to sell, but how to lead, serve, work hard, and treat people with respect because of a father or father figure who took the time to teach us.

At Oklahoma Auction School, we are blessed to be surrounded by outstanding fathers, instructors, and industry leaders who pour into students year after year. Their influence reaches far beyond the auction block, helping shape future auctioneers, business owners, leaders, and families.

To every father who has taught life’s lessons, encouraged someone’s dreams, offered a helping hand, or simply showed up when it mattered most—thank you.

The Oklahoma Auction School family proudly celebrates Dr. Josh Phelps on being named the Texas Auctioneers Association State Champion Auctioneer!

For years, Josh has been one of the founding instructors of Oklahoma Auction School and has served as our vocal coach since day one. His influence on our students, instructors, and the auction industry is impossible to measure. Through his knowledge, passion, charisma, and commitment to excellence, he has helped shape countless auctioneers and inspired generations of professionals.

Josh is recognized across the country not only as one of the finest auctioneers in the business, but also as an exceptional vocalist, music leader, communicator, educator, and mentor. More importantly, he is one of the finest people you will ever meet. His integrity, servant’s heart, and willingness to invest in others make him a true champion both on and off the auction stage.

On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, learned they were free. Juneteenth commemorates that historic moment and stands as a celebration of freedom, perseverance, hope, and the ongoing pursuit of opportunity for all.

At Oklahoma Auction School, we celebrate Juneteenth by honoring the courage of those who endured, the leaders who paved the way, and the generations who continue building brighter futures. Education, entrepreneurship, and the auction profession have long provided pathways for individuals to create opportunities, serve their communities, and achieve their dreams.
