Join the Community Food Forest Collective for its first fall food festival. We'll have demos on how to make acorn flour, how to pickle the harvest for the winter, how to cook with fig leaves, and how to brew Ethiopian coffee the traditional way, plus a kids pasta-making workshop and live music. We'll also have a seed and plant share, so please bring anything you'd like to share or just come and see what's on offer. There will be crafting for kids, plus Ethiopian coffee, local honey for sale, a popup refillery, and free vegan tamales.

Please stop by the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus Mobile Market this Wednesday, July 23. The market will be located in the Student Services (ST) building atrium, 2pm - 3:30pm.
The Mobile Market provides fresh fruits, vegetables, and other foods to MC students, faculty/staff, and the community. The food is distributed on campus at no cost. The market is a walk-thru style market.
No proof of eligibility is required. Food is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Mobile Market is a partnership between Montgomery College and the Capital Area Food Bank.
Volunteers make these markets possible! Volunteer anytime between 1pm and 3:30pm (the earlier the better!) to assist with distribution. If you are able to volunteer, please register here.

Did you know? We are excited to share some fantastic news that will directly benefit you, our students—the Carol Whitehill Moses Mobile Health Center is here! 🚐💙
Starting Thursday, February 27, 2025, the Mobile Health Center will be on the Rockville Campus, near the North Campus Garage, from 10 AM – 3 PM. This new resource is dedicated to providing confidential, compassionate, and accessible healthcare to ALL MC students—credit and noncredit. The Mobile Health Center will come to campus twice a month. Please look for the following announcement for the next date, which they will confirm soon.
What Services Are Available?
✅ Preventative care (vaccinations, screenings, chronic disease management)
✅ Physical exams
✅ STI testing, prevention, and treatment (including HIV services)
✅ Birth control options (including IUD insertion/removal & emergency contraception)
✅ Pregnancy testing & options counseling
✅ UTI treatment
✅ Gender-affirming care
✅ Mental & behavioral health services
📌 No pre-scheduled appointments needed! Students can simply stop by the Mobile Health Center to sign up for an appointment on-site, and they will be added to the schedule.
The Mobile Health Center WILL BE coming to all campuses, but they are starting at the Rockville campus.
