Our PBES staff and teachers enjoyed a delicious apple bar! Thank you to Twin Springs Fruit Farm for their generous donation of apples for our dedicated and amazing staff.

Open House for all PBES students grades 3-5 is this coming Friday, August 23 from 2-3pm! Meet your student's teacher and visit their classroom!

While you're there, stop by the parking lot for some grilled burgers and hot-dogs in support of the PTA's fundraising for the upcoming school year! PTA funds cover the cost of equity and inclusion programming, PE swim lessons, after school enrichment scholarships, community events and much more.

As the end of the year and various holidays approach, the PBES PTA seeks to help families in our school community who need help making ends meet and celebrating with their families.

Please volunteer to help a family by donating a gift card and/or a new elementary school book or two. Gift cards are welcomed and needed in the amounts of $25, $50, and $100. Books should be new and unwrapped, so families can choose among them, and should be for grades 3-5 reading levels.

Local bookstore People's Book has generously set up an online book drive link: https://bookshop.org/shop/pineybranch If you shop for the book drive via this link, your donated book can be shipped to the PBES main office, and 10% of the sale will be donated to the PBES PTA. You will also find donation boxes in the PBES main office, and at the People's Book register.

To give gift cards please coordinate with the PTA by emailing [email protected].

The book drive will run December 1 through the end of the day December 15th.

The PTA invites all of our PBES Families and Friends to a Community Celebration and Silent Auction on November 9th from 7 - 8:30pm in the PBES all purpose room! This event will be a chance for us to celebrate our joint successes, and thank you all for your participation in lifting up the PBES community. There will be pizza, a group art project for students, and a free raffle for prizes.

Bidding will be open online until November 9th at 6:30pm, and continue in person at the event. Piney Branch is partnering with Small Things Matter for its annual Coat Drive! The drive runs from October 18 to November 15. Please bring new or gently used coats to the designated box in the main office during school hours.

All PBES and TPES families are invited to get coats on Tuesday November 7 at the TPSS Coop and again at a later date (to be announced soon).

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Celebrate at "Yo Soy Piney Branch" on October 11 from 6:15-8pm with Zumba, a Wax Museum and Traditional Foods.
