Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School is a Catholic college-preparatory school for young men and women from the Washington, DC area who have the need and the motivation to help earn their own tuition money through an innovative Corporate Work Study program. Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School (DBCR) was designed for students in the greater Washington area who dream of going to college but have very limited financial resources.

DBCR senior Michelle L. spent her summer as a healthcare intern with Kaiser Permanente, building hands-on skills in intubation, IV training, and staple & suture removal! 🏥✨

🇺🇸🏛️ If you visited the Senate Chambers this summer, you may have spotted DBCR Seniors Diana V. and Andy U. hard at work as Senate Pages! 👏

🤝 Over the course of several weeks, they gained firsthand experience in public service and the legislative process, working on the Senate floor and speaking directly with Senators. They also had the opportunity to meet Senator Chuck Schumer and Senator Alsobrooks!

We’re SO proud to see our students making the most of opportunities to explore their interests and experience government in action. 🐺✨

🎓🧵 This summer, Felix (DBCR ‘27) spent a week at Montclair State University exploring his passion for fashion merchandising!

From fashion illustration 🎨✏️ to garment construction 🪡👕, Felix took on college-level coursework while sharpening his time management skills. 📚⏰

For his final project, he presented a 5-outfit collection to faculty and fellow students! 👏

🌟 His biggest takeaway? “Never limit yourself to something easy or something you know you can do; always push yourself to your 110%.”

And he’s already dreaming bigger: his goal is to study fashion abroad in Japan! 🇯🇵✈️
