๐Ÿˆ At the Students vs. Staff Flag Football game, our students brought their A-game and secured a 22-0 victory. But the real win was seeing new friendships form and connections grow on and off the field! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿบ

๐Ÿ’ฌ "The best thing about DBCR Flag Football is that the students had fun! They worked extremely hard and were excited to do their very best. It brought together students who typically do not interact with one another, helping them become teammates, supporters, and friends." โ€” Mr. Nickens, Math Teacher & Flag Football Coach

๐Ÿบ Congratulations to our student athletes!! GO WOLFPACK ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿ’ฌ โ€œNothing compares to spending a day in person with professionals who are all working toward helping us grow in public speaking, networking, and gaining real-world insight.โ€ - Nelson V (DBCR โ€˜27)

We were thrilled that a select group of our students had the opportunity to attend Accenture's Exploration Day ๐Ÿ”Ž๐Ÿ’ผ! Experiences like these help students build confidence and develop the professional skills they'll carry into college, careers, and beyond.

Thank you, Accenture, for investing in our students and creating opportunities for them to learn directly from industry leaders. We are grateful for your partnership! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿบ

๐Ÿบ๐Ÿ€ As members of the Class of 2025, Tyler Marshall and Maya Byrd-Gross helped elevate DBCR athletics to new heightsโ€”and now, theyโ€™re taking their talents to the collegiate level at Penn State Greater Allegheny and Hood College!

๐ŸŽ‰ Tyler made school history as Boys Varsity Basketball Captain โ›น๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ€, leading the Wolfpack to our first-ever Potomac Valley Athletic Conference (PVAC) Basketball Championship victory in just our second year of membership, becoming our first 1,000-point scorer, and earning the first jersey retirement in DBCR basketball! Along the way, he also developed professionally through the Corporate Work Study Program ๐Ÿ‘” at EY, St. Anthony Catholic School, and The People's House: A White House Experience.

๐ŸŒŸ Maya leaves a legacy of her own. As Girls Varsity Captain โ›น๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ€, she led the Wolfpack to the PVAC Playoff Semifinals and became DBCRโ€™s first-ever PVAC First Team All-Conference selection! Off the court, she worked at placements such as ๐Ÿ’ผ St. Anthony Catholic School, RLJ Lodging Trust, The Freedonia Group, and The Arc Montgomery County. Today, sheโ€™s a Middle Atlantic Conference) Winter All-Sportsmanship Team athlete!

๐Ÿ˜ โ€œSmile by smile, it is my dream to continue serving communities who deserve access to the basic healthcare that so many of us take for granted.โ€

๐Ÿบ๐Ÿ’ญ That dream is already becoming a reality for DBCR alumna Yenifer Baca (DBCR โ€™24).

๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡น Yenifer recently traveled to Guatemala for a 9-day mission trip, working alongside passionate doctors with VIDA Volunteer to provide healthcare to the local community.
