Today, Mr. Weerts and Mrs. Robinson had the pleasure to meet Colin Kaepernick. The civil rights activist and former NFL quarterback, today announced the launch of Lumi Story AI, a groundbreaking platform that empowers creators by providing them with the tools needed to independently create, publish, and merchandise their stories both digitally and physically.

Transition Day- Monday, August 25th. Who attends:

All students entering Kindergarten, Grade 6 and Grade 9.

Incoming Grade 3 students attending intermediate schools (Grades 3 - 5).

Any other students, new to these schools, outside of these grades may be on an alternative schedule that was developed by individual schools to meet their specific needs, however they are welcome to attend for the duration of the day. For these students, the goal is to address challenges, transportation for example.

Community Message On Monday, Aug. 25, Montgomery County Public Schools will hold its first-ever Student Transition Day, an all-day, non-instructional school experience designed to ease the transition for students entering new school levels or buildings. It is a good day to try out your school routine.

Student Transition Day is Monday, Aug. 25, a day to help scholars adjust to new schools. NOTE: The first day for all students is Tuesday, Aug. 26.
