Last Thursday, our center was closed for Staff Development Day, and it was such a meaningful day for our team! 💛

We spent the day learning and growing together as childcare professionals. Our trainer led discussions focused on building stronger connections with children and understanding how to connect one-on-one through different behaviors and emotions. These conversations were such a great reminder of how important relationships, patience, and understanding are in early childhood education.

We also had some fun getting creative and made a cute “How Are You Feeling?” chart to help children identify and express their emotions in a positive way. 😊

We are so thankful for opportunities like these that help us continue learning and becoming the best teachers, caregivers, and support system we can be for your children every day.

We also want to sincerely thank all of our parents and families for your support and understanding during our closure. Your support allows us the opportunity to continue learning, growing, and providing the best care possible for the children in our center. We appreciate you so much!

Happy Work Together Wednesday! 🤝✨
As part of the Week of the Young Child, our children here at HLDCDC got to work together at lunchtime by building their own pizzas! 🍕 From sharing ingredients to helping one another create their perfect slice, it was a fun and tasty way to practice teamwork.

These shared experiences help build cooperation, communication, and friendships that grow every day. 💛

It’s Tasty Tuesday as part of Week of the Young Child! 🌮✨ Today our little learners enjoyed a delicious meal of Indian tacos while learning about culture, community, and the joy of sharing food together.

From the warm fry bread to all the tasty toppings, it was a hands-on experience full of new flavors and big smiles! 😋

Moments like these help children explore traditions, try new foods, and build a love for learning through meaningful experiences. 💓
