Food Sustainability::Inter-Tribal Environmental Council Food Sustainability

Check out what Cherokee Nation/ITEC has done with our Hazardous Waste Grant this year! We collected a total of 43,027 pounds of waste between (2) Electronic Waste Collection Events & (3) Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events for a total of 5 Collection Events! A big shout out to all of the City entities (City of Fort Gibson, City of Stilwell, City of Miami and the Adair County Trash-Off) and all of our Tribal partners (Eastern Shawnee Tribe, Miami Tribe of Oklahoma, Modoc Tribe, Ottawa Tribe of Oklahoma, Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma, Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma, Seneca-Cayuga Nation, Shawnee Tribe and Wyandotte Nation) that assisted in making each event a huge success. We could not have done any of this without such a great support system and we look forward to working with everyone again in the future. Until then, remember to REDUCE . REUSE & RECYCLE! ♻️✅🌳
