Woodall 4H Club

On Wednesday August 21st we will have a 4H meeting. Anyone interested in joining that is in the 3rd grade and up may attend the meeting. We will meet after school in building 6 (1st grade building) at 3:30. Our 4-H educator Carolan will be at this meeting to answer any questions you may have.

Tuesday, February 13th the 4-H Appropriate Dress will be held at the school's event center. If your child plans to attend this please let me know as soon as possible so I can make a list for the office to excuse your child. It starts at 9 and we should be done around 11. If you have any questions please contact me.

Our 4-H club will work the basketball game on December 7th, 2023. I will need about 2 more parents to help volunteer to work the gate and concession. There are 4 games, and some students have already volunteered to work. Displayed below is who will work at what time and what game:

Tonight is the Halloween Carnival from 5:30-8! Please have your child dress warm!! Below are the time slots for those who signed up to work the 4-H booth. The time slots are only 30 minutes long so the kids can also enjoy the carnival. I don't know where we will be set up at but I'm trying to get it where it will be close to the Kindergarten booths so I can help work both. I know I have a few parents that are going to help when they can. If your child can't work their time slots please let me know.

4-H meeting tomorrow from 3:30-4:00. We will be going over working the booth schedule for the carnival and our upcoming fundraiser. Also, we need more candy for the carnival for our 4-H booth we only have a couple of bags so far.

Plan to stop by the Cherokee County Livestock Arena on October 18th for a fun & educational activity !

Parents the fair is this week…how did September get here so fast?! I’m asking students to bring all their exhibits Wednesday morning to me and I can turn them in Wednesday for them or you can enter them Wednesday at the new livestock barn from 12-6 pm. We are going to wait to for our next meeting. So instead of tomorrow, we will have it on Wednesday, August 30th 3:30-5:30. As of right now I have just a few 4Hers enrolled at Woodall. Please make sure you are enrolled before our next meeting! I have officer papers if you want to run for a club 4H officer. Stop by Room 203 in the Kindergarten building so I can give you those, I passed them out at last meeting but I know some missed.
