I'm so sorry!
Unfortunately, ODOT has continued to list Cherokee county roads as severe. Public schools as well as NSU have closed for tomorrow. I am inclined to continue to follow suit to insure the safety of our community. Please stay safe and warm! Hopefully, conditions will be improved so we can resume on Thursday. My sincere apologies for this inconvenience!

Fun meteorological event this morning in Oklahoma: GRAUPEL! What is this though? It forms when supercooled water droplets in air are collected and freeze on falling snowflakes, forming 2–5 mm balls of crisp, opaque ice.

Apologize for the short notice, but we just woke up and have received notice that the ODOT has listed Cherokee county roads as dangerously slick. All public schools as well as NSU have closed for the day. We will follow suit and need to close as well. I sincerely apologize for the short notice and inconvenience. Stay safe and warm.
