Accounting & Finance Career Day!

On August 28, NSU’s College of Business & Technology, Accounting & Finance Department, in partnership with Career Services, hosted a full day of opportunities for students to explore careers in accounting and finance!

The day featured three events designed to connect students with academic resources, industry professionals and career opportunities:

🎓 Accounting High School Recruitment Event
💼 Accounting & Finance Panels
🤝 Accounting & Finance Careers Night

Students had the opportunity to hear from industry professionals, ask questions, build connections and gain valuable insight into careers in accounting and finance.

A special thank you to the Accounting Society student leaders for helping organize the events, our faculty and staff for their support, and our industry partners and panelists for sharing their time and expertise with our students!

Congratulations, Dr. Hossein Nezakati! 🎉

CBT is proud to celebrate Dr. Nezakati on the publication of his latest research article, “Comparative Analysis of Ecovillage Conceptualizations: Southeast Asia and Developed Nations,” in the Journal of Community Practice.

The study examines ecovillage development and sustainable communities across Southeast Asia and developed nations, contributing to research on sustainability and the quadruple bottom line framework.

This publication also supports Dr. Nezakati’s current NSU Faculty Research Committee grant project focused on sustainable communities and ecovillage development.

Congratulations, Dr. Nezakati, on this accomplishment! We are proud to celebrate your continued contributions to research and scholarship at NSU and CBT! 👏📚🦅
