2026 - 2027 Calendar

For Briggs School basketball players entering 7th and 8th grade during the 2026–2027 school year, please be at the upper gym no later than 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 4th. The gym will be open as early as 9:00 a.m., and students will leave at 11:00 a.m. for the Rocky Mountain Summer Team Camp at Rocky Mountain School.

On Friday, June 5th basketball players need to be in the upper gym no later than 10:20 a.m. The gym will be open as early as 9:30 a.m. and students will leave at 10:20 a.m.

For Briggs School basketball players entering 7th and 8th grade during the 2026–2027 school year, please be at the upper gym no later than 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26th. The gym will be open as early as 7:30 a.m., and students will leave at 8:00 a.m. for the Maryetta Summer Team Camp at Maryetta School.

Kindergarten graduation will begin today at 9:00 a.m. in the upper gym, followed by the P3 (Head Start) graduation at 10:00 a.m. Congratulations, graduates!!!

We have a limited number of yearbooks available at a discounted price! These yearbooks have minor imperfections and are on sale for just $10.00. Yearbooks may be purchased in the front office while supplies last.

Briggs free sports physicals will be given Wednesday, May 13 starting at 8:30 a.m. in the upper gym. Dr. Doug Nolan will be giving the examinations. This is for any 5th-8th grader planning on participating in any sport during the 2026-2027 school year, including cheerleading. All physical forms need to be turned in by Tuesday. Forms will be sent home today.

Our year is drawing to a close! Our end-of-year awards assemblies are scheduled as follows:

8th Grade — May 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria
Pre-K, 1st, & 2nd Grades — May 19th at 8:30 a.m. in the upper gym
3rd & 4th Grades — May 19th at 9:30 a.m. in the upper gym
5th–7th Grades — May 19th at 10:30 a.m. in the upper gym
*Kindergarten receives their awards at Graduation on May 18 at 9:00 a.m.
