The Church Studio presents IN SESSION, a recording session with Jocelyn Gould—an exclusive and immersive listening experience in the iconic Live Room in collaboration with Northeastern State University. Limited to just 50 attendees per show, this event offers a unique opportunity to become part of the recording and tracking process.

As an integral part of the session, each guest will be provided with individual headphones delivering a personalized mix of vocals and multi-track instrumentation. This is more than a concert—it’s a rare glimpse into the artistry of analog recording, a journey into raw and authentic soundscapes.

Director of Jazz Studies Dr. Jordan VanHemert will be performing in the ensemble, and NSU music production students will be assisting with the recording. Join us for this unique performance!

Join us this fall as the Community-University Band takes a trip to the seaside! Rehearsals are Monday nights beginning August 17, and the band is open to anyone who can play a band instrument and read music. We’ll “sea” you there! ⛱️

Let’s give a big RiverHawk welcome to our new Artist Instructor of Horn, Landon Geitzenauer! Professor Geitzenauer is a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas and an alumnus of the University of Oklahoma. He makes his home in Oklahoma City where he freelances and teaches a private studio. Thanks for joining our faculty, Professor Geitzenauer!

Exciting changes are coming to the RiverHawk Marching Band, including the appointment of our new Director of Bands and marching band director, Dr. Malcolm Burke!
