As July comes to a close, we wanted to reflect on Juvenile Arthritis Awareness Month.

SCHOLARSHIP: The last of AOII’s four core values. Scholarship means showing genuine commitment to learning, growth, and academic responsibility. Scholarship is not just about grades it’s about consistently striving to be better, manage time with integrity, and using education to contribute meaningfully to the chapter and campus. AOII encourages us to approach academics with purpose and discipline while supporting our sisters in their own goals. By upholding this value, we aim to represent AOII as women who lead with curiosity, ambition, and accountability both inside and outside the classroom.

DIGNITY: Another one of AOII’s four values. Dignity means carrying yourself and treating others with unwavering respect, compassion, and worth. It’s the value that guides how you speak, act, and show up as a woman of character. In AOII, dignity is about honoring every person’s humanity, choosing kindness even when it’s difficult, embracing differences with grace, and representing your chapter with poise in every setting. It’s both self‑respect and sister‑respect: the quiet strength of knowing who you are and uplifting the people around you.

Going back to one of our favorite philanthropy events of the fall BONE BASH! Great excuse to get dressed up with our sisters and raise money for our local philanthropy; the Boys and Girls Club of Tahlequah! We can’t wait to create more of these memories this fall! 🍂🎃
