The Blood Mobile will be on campus Monday, August 31st. This is a great chance to give back and help save lives in our community.

Taft ISD Bond Update--August 21, 2026

Construction continues at the new high school campus with rooms beginning to take shape in the classroom areas closest to the gym. This is the first update that includes interior images of the new high school campus. Walls on the auditorium are nearly complete and the roofing system should be added soon.

Taft ISD Bond Update - August 14, 2026

At the new high school site, auditorium walls continue to rise, roof work continues over classroom spaces, and the gym exterior has been painted. Once spaces are completely enclosed, interior work will take off.

The tennis court foundations have been prepped and poured. Work continues on the inside of the concession stand at the baseball/softball field.

2025-2026 School Accountability Ratings were released to the public today and Taft ISD couldn't be prouder of our district & campus ratings! All campuses met the goal of increasing a letter grade from the previous rating and Petty Elementary actually increased 2 letter grades.

Congratulations to all of our teachers, teacher aides, campus administrators, support staff and of course, our incredible students, for all of their hard work last year! We are proud of you!!!!
