Both your JV and Varsity squads run their records to 3-0 on the season in shutout fashion, with the JV team bringing home the W 55-0 and the Varsity ‘Cats prevailing 35-0 over the Saints of Santa Maria High!

It’s a short week and a holiday week to come, with gameday vs Arvin High next Thursday night. We’re gonna enjoy this one tonight, watch it tomorrow, and then it’s on to the Bears as we head back home!

The little things matter and Special Teams often gets overlooked. Isaiah has been nails all season long: 11-for-11 on PATs, 1–for-1 on FG attempts (35 yarder last Friday night vs Del Oro), and he’s put 6 kickoff’s in the ‘Zone for Touchbacks so far.

The leg on this one is LIVE! And he’s just a Junior!

Huge shoutout to Isaiah for his performance. And all the love to our holder, Senior Hunter Melton, who’s done a great job corralling snaps & getting the holds down for #73 to put his boot to!

Losing shows a need for improvement, but winning demands it! With that in mind, we’re back on the grind!

A long road trip this week as we head through the Cuyama Valley and into the Central Coast for a matchup in Santa Maria this Friday night!

We hope to see a big Blue & Gold Wave make the trip as we visit Santa Maria High School to take on their Saints in non-league action, both levels looking to keep their records perfect early on in the season!

JV at 5pm, Varsity at 7:30pm.

Joe weber went for 307 all-purpose yards and 4 total touchdowns in his season debut, averaging 15.3 yards per carry.

Varsity Final Score:
- Wildcats 45, Suns 14

We’re gonna celebrate tonight, watch the film tomorrow, and then turn the page to Santa Maria next week!
