Today was our first chapel day! Every Wednesday, we gather for chapel, and students wear their special chapel uniforms. During chapel, we say the pledge to both the American and Christian flags, recite the Apostles’ Creed, and sing songs from our hymnals. Today, our second graders presented a song about the Books of the Bible, and Mrs. McInnis gave a lesson on the virtue of compassion. We concluded chapel by singing the Doxology. Next week, we’ll reintroduce the Virtuous Knights Award at the end of chapel.

We had another fun night at Rainier’s! We cheered, saw Rhubarb, danced with the “Epic Sax Gorilla,” and enjoyed our time...

Our Logic School students had a great opportunity to bond and enjoy an adventure this week. Yesterday, they took the ferry to Vashon Island, where they hiked and explored the area. What a fantastic way to spend the third day of school!

Cindy Ward will be available to help with any uniform repair needs this Friday! She will be at the school during the day to offer uniform repairs and small alterations. Buttons loose or missing, hems shortened, seams unraveling, etc.

Bring your items in the morning to the Logic Commons and pick up at the end of day!

Donations accepted, but not required!

Note: She will not have extra Polo shirt buttons this week, but might next time, so bring a replacement if you still have it!

Mark your calendars for Friday, September 18! We’ll celebrate the start of a new school year and the opening of our new campus with an afternoon of treats, carnival games, and an inflatable obstacle course. We’ll also gather for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially celebrate the opening of our new school. This event is free and open to Cor Deo students, families, and our community.

Meet the Teacher! What a day! It was such a blessing to see all the joyful faces, friends reunited, and kids ready to start the school year next week.

Meet the Teacher is so wonderful for the students to come in and get to know their classroom and teacher without the pressure of it being the first day at school. It helps alleviate those first day jitters and it was especially fun this year as it was the first time the new campus welcomed families!
