This weeks "Leader of the Pack" is our music teacher, Anna Robson. Ms. Robson has been a teacher for three years and her favorite thing about Lister is how supportive the staff members are of each other and the collective growth mindset.

A fun fact about her is that she has performed on stage with movie composer Ramin Djawadi for a Game of Thrones live concert and got to meet him. Her favorite memory of school was being in the theater troupe in high school. She got to perform on stage in lots of different parts, help with props and costumes and even direct some one act productions!

Last week our Lister Lion 5th graders went to Camp Colman and had a wonderful time! Thanks to all the parents and staff who chaperoned to make this a wonderful experience for our kids.

This week's "Leader of the Pack" is Ms. Almonte. She has 34 years of teaching experience and her favorite thing about Lister is working with our multi-lingual and English Language Learners. She has been able to work with some Lister students their entire school career.

A fun fact about Ms. Almonte is that she went all through Tacoma Public Schools. She attended Fawcett Elementary, Stewart Middle School and Graduated from Lincoln High School. Her favorite memories of elementary school involve art and listening to read alouds, both things she still loves to this day!

Hey Lister Families, please join us this Thursday from 5-6:30 for our Family Reading Night! We will have fun games like Bingo, an escape room, book walk, book swap, photo booth and art projects. Please bring a gently used book to exchange in our book swap!

This week's Lister Leader of the Pack is Mrs. Lack. It's hard to believe that it's only Mrs. Lack's first year in education because she is such a rock star! She says she loves Lister because it promotes Restorative Practices that help students in being responsible and accountable for their words and actions.

A fun fact about her is that she loves to watch ice skating! Her favorite memory in school was when her elementary principal came into an assembly dressed like Madonna and performed a song.
