At our Auburn Free Healthcare Event, one guest received much-needed dental care—and left with more than just treatment. She left feeling seen, cared for, and deeply grateful. 🦷❤️

Because of generous dental professionals and volunteers, hope, health, and healing were given freely.

This is why we serve. This is Compassion Washington. 🙏

Free healthcare. Compassionate care. Lives changed.

❤️ HE CAME AS A GUEST. HE LEFT WITH A HEART TO SERVE.

What happens when someone who once came to a Compassion Washington Free Healthcare Event for help returns—not as a guest, but as a volunteer?

His first experience was about receiving care. But along the way, he experienced something more: people who listened to his story, treated him with dignity, prayed with him, and showed him the love of Jesus through compassionate service.

That experience inspired him to come back and serve others who were now walking through the same doors he once entered. 🙌

✨ From guest to volunteer. From receiving compassion to giving compassion. From being served to serving.

This is why we do what we do. It’s not just about providing healthcare—it’s about building relationships, planting seeds of faith, and being the hands and feet of Jesus in our communities.

❤️ Sometimes God sends us to an event to receive a blessing… and then calls us back to become the blessing.

DAY 6 OF 10 DAYS OF PRAYER
🔥 THE CALL TO GO
📖 Matthew 28:19–20

“Go and make disciples of all nations…”

As we prepare our hearts for Rosh Hashanah—the Feast of Trumpets, we are reminded that the sound of the trumpet is a call to attention, a call to awaken, and a call to action.

Today, we hear another call:

📯 GO.

Go beyond the walls.
Go beyond our comfort zones.
Go beyond what is familiar.
Go to the hurting.
Go to the vulnerable.
Go to the forgotten.
Go and make disciples.

Jesus didn’t say, “Wait for them to come.”
He said, “GO.”

And we believe that call begins right where God has planted us.

📍 Our Jerusalem: Seattle & Tacoma
🌎 Our Judea: Washington State
🕊️ Our Samaria: those who may be near us, yet remain unreached, overlooked, or marginalized
🌍 Our ends of the earth: wherever God sends us

At Compassion Washington, our prayer is that the trumpet would awaken the Church to GO together—to bring the compassion of Christ through free healthcare, fight human trafficking, connect people to resources, create pathways to restoration and employment, and ultimately point people to Jesus.

And as Matthew 28:20 reminds us:

“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We don’t GO alone.
Jesus goes with us.

🙏 DAY 6 PRAYER

Lord, awaken Your Church.

Let the sound of the trumpet stir us from complacency into action. Give us courage to GO, compassion to serve, wisdom to recognize those who are hurting, and boldness to proclaim the Gospel.

Send us into our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

May Auburn, Seattle and Tacoma encounter Your love.
May Washington be transformed by Your Gospel.
May those who are overlooked find hope, health, healing, and freedom.
And may our obedience become a doorway for others to encounter Jesus.

Lord, here we are. SEND US.
