One of Mrs. Jaskar's clubs, The Little Leaders for Good club, is collecting items for people experiencing homelessness in Tacoma. They are collecting hygiene items to donate to Tacoma Rescue Mission.
The drive will be from Monday May 4th through Friday May 15th.
Items can be dropped off in a collection bin in the office.
Items needed:
Toothbrushes
Toothpaste
Deodorant
Liquid Body Soap
Lotion
Wet Wipes
Hand Sanitizer
Shampoo
Conditioner
Travel-Sized Hygiene Items
Full-Sized Bath Towels

Elementary Graduation Walks – Monday, June 8, 2026, at 2:30 PM
Grab your caps, iron/steam your gown, and stole! Get ready to walk the halls of your elementary school! Our TPS elementary schools would like to welcome you back to honor your accomplishments and to inspire the little ones.

Please meet in the main office of your elementary school dressed in your cap, gown, and stole just prior to 2:30 PM. If you bring your tassel or cords, do not lose them. Wear your tassel on your right side.

Be on time!

If the elementary school you attended is not in Tacoma Public Schools, you may find a friend and attend with them at their school. Some schools may want you to answer a few questions for the students, so be prepared to dazzle the next generation of high school graduates!

Hello Families! Our Spring Picture Day is just around the corner on Tuesday, March 31st.
David, with our wonderful PTSA is looking for volunteers to assist us that day.

Starting March 4, all families of students with an IEP will receive a communication with a link to a survey developed by OSPI. The intent of the survey is to gather feedback from families of students with IEPs to understand how well schools support parent involvement in special education. The deadline for families to complete the survey is May 1, 2026.

From our 3rd Grade Team:
We need help! We are in need of 1-liter plastic bottles (clean soda, water or juice etc). We are currently 55 bottles short for our fun hands-on orca project. Our project begins in less than 2 weeks!
