We were saddened to hear our classmate, John Hickey, passed away in November. May he rest in peace.

Happy holidays to all! Hope you made it through all the wind storms in the Puget Sound area without any damage to you or your home. We had lots of branches down in University Place. Our usual reunion location of Fircrest Golf Club had the ground covered with broken branches. Didn't stop people from golfing though!

It is getting harder to keep in touch with our classmates as we move to retirement communities, independent living, and such. Please send us a message with your new address and/or email so we can stay in touch. Don't forget our possible 75th birthday celebration in 2026!

Our 55th has come and gone! A good time was had by all who attended. We had our wrap up meeting last week! It was decided why not celebrate our 75th birthdays in a couple of years! Talk of the event being held at Allenmore Golf Course for golfing and later at the Urban Elk for refreshments in a casual atmosphere. Not sure of the actual date, but sometime in 2026 most likely in August/September. Stay tuned to this page! Great to see so many from the class of 1969. We figure at least 170 people came to both events! People loved having both options. We had a wonderful time catching up with classmates--trying to recognize people without help of our class photos this time! Rita did a fantastic job on our memorial boards including what pictures she could find and stories about departed classmates. Lots of compliments on the food at the Fircrest Golf Club this time--especially the finger sized twice baked potatoes, but all the food offerings were tasty. Here's a photo of some of the committee finally getting a chance to relax. Talk of a 75th birthday party event at Allenmore in a couple of years. What do you think?

We were saddened to hear about the passing of classmate Christine Henton Bisnett. She was active helping others in her later years. A memorial is planned for Aug. 31, 2024, from noon – 3 p.m. at the Community Covenant Church in Twisp. Her obituary can be found here.

Get in on the excitement of our double nickel reunion (yes we are still going the speed limit)! It will be a fun evening seeing old friends and reacquainting with classmates.
