HAWKS WIN!

MS Varsity Volleyball battled back for a 2-1 victory over Saint Francis Cabrini!

After dropping the opening set 25-5, the Hawks responded with a 25-20 win in the second before taking control of the deciding set, 15-4.

A big turnaround from last season, when Cabrini defeated Concordia 3-0. Great fight and resilience from the Hawks!

HAWKS WIN!

MS Soccer bounced back in a big way Thursday afternoon, defeating Redeemer Christian 2, 8-0!

Ephraim H. led the Hawks with a hat trick, while Roman A. added two goals. Miguel V., Moses V., and Malcolm J. each found the back of the net to round out the scoring.

After a tough loss earlier in the week, the Hawks responded with a strong team performance and a shutout victory.

The team capped off the afternoon with pizza at Watershed FC Pizza!

Traveling from class to class is fun! Mrs. Rush is enjoying teaching 2nd grade, and Mrs. Gibelyou has returned to the Learning Edge & teaching another elective called “Genius Hour.” Drama class was doing a hidden ball activity, which was very entertaining to watch. Also, if you walk into class at just the right time, you might get to be someone's math partner.

HAWKS WIN!

Varsity Volleyball picks up its first win of the season with a strong performance over Summit Sierra! The Hawks won all five sets played: 25-11, 25-9, 25-13, 15-8, 15-4, with the final two played as extra sets to 15.

H. Kariuki — 6 aces
A. Clark & J. Grieve — 5 aces each
69 serve receptions with just 1 reception error
K. Sheldon — team-high 13 receptions

A complete team effort and a great way for the Hawks to earn win No. 1!
