I’m looking for people to participate in a huge book exchange. All you have to do is buy your favorite book (just one) and send it to a stranger. (I’ll send their details in a private message.)

You’ll receive a maximum of 36 books back to you, to keep. They’ll be favorite books from strangers all over!

Hi all!

This is a reminder that NSO Guide applications are due next Monday, March 25th! This is a paid position this year. Guides will be offered 42 hours of compensation for training and orientation from September 3rd through September 9th, 2019. You can find the application on Career Connections.

Our final information session is Friday, March 22nd at 12:00 pm in AUC 134.

Please attend this session if you have any questions or want to know more about the position! If you have any questions and cannot make it to this session, please email [email protected] and we can get those questions answered!

Meet your Explore! 2019 staff member:
Alexis Nelson joined PLU's Student Engagement Office as the Assistant Director for Transitional Engagement in June of 2017. In her role she directs the New Student Orientation Program, co-leads the new Adulting 101 Program, advises PLU's new chapter of the National Society of Leadership & Success, and will teach a PLUS 100 course for first year students in J-Term. She loves conversations with PLU students, swimming, poetry, hiking, coffee, Shih-Tzus, and Harry Potter. She counts it an honor to journey alongside students and looks forward to hearing students' stories about purpose, passion, and vocation during EXPLORE!
