Last week has been filled with more love, encouragement, and kind words than I could ever put into words.

Today, our students and families surprised me with a secret spirit day—checker print, smiley faces, kindness shirts, and all the things that apparently remind them of “Miss Smith.” 💛

To everyone who participated, sent a message, shared a memory, gave a hug, or simply stopped to wish me well: thank you. After ten years at Crescent Heights, the hardest part of leaving is saying goodbye to a community that has given me so much.

I have always hoped our students knew how deeply they were loved and valued. This week, you made sure I knew the very same thing.

Thank you for the surprise, the smiles, and the overwhelming kindness. I will carry these memories with me.

Please look through these pictures and let us know if you see an item belonging to your student. We will do our best to get it back to them, but this is a very busy last week of school!

All unclaimed items will be donated after the last day of school!

After 39 years of teaching Elementary Music, and at Crescent Heights since its opening in 1999, our beloved Mrs. Flannagan is retiring!

Join us in wishing her the best in her new season of life in retirement! Congratulations, Mrs. Flannagan! You’ve touched the lives of hundreds (thousands?) of students, staff and families in your years here at CHE.

Are you graduating from high school this year and attended Crescent Heights Elementary? We’d love to welcome you back for our annual Senior Hallway Walk!

Join us on Monday, June 8 at 2:30 PM (arrive by 2:20 PM) wearing your cap and gown as you walk the halls of CHE one last time and inspire our current students. It’s a special tradition and a chance to celebrate how far you’ve come since your elementary school days.

Springtime at Crescent Heights can only mean one thing….baby chicks! Our Kindergarten students are learning all about the life cycle of eggs and baby chicks! 🐤🐣🐥

Last week, we celebrated our Crescent Heights bus drivers. They transport our kids every day with smiles on their faces. We were happy to shower them with appreciation last week!
