Pack your snacks, blankets and lawn chairs and head to Stewart Heights Park on August 17 for a free outdoor movie and family fun! Enjoy a variety of activities including inflatable slides, games, entertainment, crafts, and food trucks. The movie "Kung Fu Panda 4" begins at dusk.

Back to School Orientation! New and returning students need to attend this orientation as we prepare for back to school this fall. Support services including transportation and interpreters (Ukranian & Spanish) will be in attendance as well.

Hanging out with Baki Sem is one of the reasons kids love Summer Late Nights. Don’t get us wrong – the friends and free dinner and basketball are great too – but adults like Baki make sure kids feel welcome, cared for, and have a good time. If you haven’t come to a session yet, there’s still time to change that! At Summer Late Nights, all TPS middle and high school students can hang out with friends, get free dinner and participate in open gym, art and music activities. It’s a free drop-in program; students can attend as often as they like. WHEN: Monday-Friday, 5-10 p.m. through Aug. 30 WHERE: Schools, community centers and other sites across Tacoma. ECEAP Helps Children and Families

Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound is partnering up with Starbucks to host this community event for ALL families. Starbucks is planning our third ALL.IN. Pacific Northwest event focused on back-to-school resource distribution. Connecting families and youth to their community and the resources they need to thrive. We will provide family support resources and giveaways including food, beverages and back-to-school supplies.
