As we enter the homestretch of the school year, we know life gets hectic! Let's all take a deep breath, slow down in and around school zones, keep those crosswalks clear, and remember that we are all responsible for keeping our kids safe on the way to and from school.

Let's get our kids safely through the school year so we can all enjoy summer break!

We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the Garden Faire this Friday! Join us on the playground from 3:30 to 5:30 for lots of fun activities, food, performances, plant sales, raffles, and clothing, book, and seed swaps. It's going to be a lot of fun and a great way to kick off your weekend!

Garden Faire is one week away and we need volunteers to help us make this fun event a success! All we're asking is 30 minutes per volunteer. If you want to help, please sign up at the following link. See you there!

Garden Faire is coming up on Friday, May 1st after school! Among the many activities is the opportunity for you to perform. Students, parents, teachers, and other community members are all welcome to sing a song, do a dance, read a poem, play an instrument, make us laugh with a comedy routine, or show off another of your amazing talents!

REMINDER! Tomorrow is the final day to return your Read-A-Thon packets! Be sure to send in your child's reading log, sponsorship form, and any money they have raised. Every child who turns in a reading log, regardless of the money raised, will be entered into a drawing to win prizes!

Thank you to everyone who has participated and helped encourage our students to read, and raised money for our classrooms!

Election Day is tomorrow!! Be sure to vote YES and get those ballots in by 8:00 PM! There is a ballot drop box just down the street from Bryant at 9th & M across from People's Park.

AND join us after school at the corner of 6th & Sprague to wave signs and remind voters how important it is to pass these levies for our kids!

Election Day is coming up quick! If you'd like to pitch in help get out the word about voting YES on the school levies, we'd love see you out a corner at 6th & Sprague tomorrow morning from 7 AM -8 AM and after school from 4:00-5:30 PM. Wave signs, wave at drivers, do a little dance, and help let Tacoma know how much we need Yes votes on Tuesday!

Reminder! Tomorrow after school join us to wave signs at 6th & Sprague in support of voting YES on the school levies. We will have more yard signs available to wave and display in your yard. See you after school in support of our kids!

Join us this Thursday and Friday after school to encourage voting YES on the school funding levies! Every vote in support of the levies is important in a low-turnout election and your efforts will help them pass.

On Thursday, we will provide supplies to make signs and on Friday we will head out to 6th & Sprague to wave signs and let our community know how important passing these levies are for Tacoma's kids.
