Mark your calendars! Next Tuesday is the first PTO meeting of the year! This meeting will be in person for the first time since 2020. Join us right after school in Ms. Odell's classroom, upstairs in the Middle School hallway. Because we are a PTO and not a PTA, there is no cost to attend and no membership fees. To join, you simply show up!

We can't wait to see you all in person and share our plans for the school year!

We want to give a huge shoutout to the volunteer crossing guards, who have stepped up to help make the morning walk to school safer. We appreciate you so much!!

As a reminder to drivers, please go slow so that you can be aware of everything around you. The mornings in front of school are hectic and we all need to work together to keep our kids safe. Kids and adults on foot ALWAYS have the right of the way, so PLEASE do not stop in crosswalks. It creates a huge safety hazard as kids try to get around your vehicle.

We appreciate everyone working to keep kids safe as they get to school! It really is a community effort.

New Kindergarten parents! Join the PTO on the playground after you drop off your kiddo for the first day of kindergarten. We'll have coffee and tea, donuts, and a tissue if you need one. It's a big day and we'd love to celebrate with you and meet you!

Tonight is the Meet & Greet at Bryant from 4:00 to 5:30! Be sure to stop by the PTO table in the breezeway while you're there. Meet the new executive board, learn about our plans for the upcoming year, including changes to meetings. We also want to hear your ideas! We have surveys on the upcoming Monster Mash and ongoing work for street safety, and volunteer opportunities.

Best of all, we have a raffle to win a $25 gift card to Balloon Roof, just what you need to ease the transition into the school year. Can't wait to see you there!

As we enter the homestretch of the school year, we know life gets hectic! Let's all take a deep breath, slow down in and around school zones, keep those crosswalks clear, and remember that we are all responsible for keeping our kids safe on the way to and from school.

Let's get our kids safely through the school year so we can all enjoy summer break!
