The Weekly Jazz Workshop The Weekly Jazz Workshop focuses on helping students learn how to improvise and develop solos. All ages and abilities are welcome to participate.

The Weekly Jazz Workshop is a class held every Tuesday evening at Ted Brown Music in Tacoma WA. Students are rehearsed and instructed by some of the finest jazz musicians in the Northwest as well as visiting artists from around the world. Students learn basic song forms like the Blues and Rhythm Changes as well as standard songs from the jazz idiom. The main focus of the workshop is to help students become better improvisers and musicians. Each month the students also have to opportunity to perform alongside professional musicians at local venues. For more information please visit: www.kkworldorchestra.org
