Congratulations to Erick B. Lakkham, Kush Juneja, Andres F. Gamboa, and Ermias Getahun for being selected as recipients of the -NASA-NSF Aviation Cyber Security Workshop Travel Scholarship. They participated in the ERAU-NASA-NSF Aviation Cyber Security CTF and workshop from April 17-18, 2024, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. Their relentless pursuit of excellence and expertise has led them to this remarkable moment, advancing their understanding of aviation cybersecurity and CTF applicability. Our students of TCE 337 Construction Materials just recently visited Miles Sand and Gravel in Port Orchard! Miles Sand and Gravel has been supplying concrete and aggregates to the Puget Sound for 80 years. Their product is retrieved from local sites and used to build massive projects like the P-8A Naval Air Station on Windbey Island, which has “over seventy 30’ to 60’ high Thermomass System NC panels”!

Last week, our graduate advisors, Rachel and Victoria, and Professor Deveeshree Nayak visited the Women in Cybersecurity 2024 Conference! We met so many of you, both new and familiar faces!
