Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.

We are still reflecting on the sweet, sacred, and precious time spent together at Masters.

Happy birthday dearest Melissa Martin of YogaFaith Madison

🎂 Melissa graduated in 2015 and became a Lead Trainer immediately, and for over a decade since that day she has poured her soul into the students who came after her.

She has shared her hope story again and again, the session that broke her wide open at her immersion, she has trained, mentored and anointed disciples at YogaFaith teacher trainings and Miracle Immersions ever since.

The Lord has used every step of her journey to help the hurting find their hope story where they once found only their hurt.

📕 He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners… to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. Isaiah 61:1, 3, NIV

Melissa has been a precious and dear friend to Derek and Michelle, and she is a pillar in the YogaFaith ministry. We are incredibly grateful and honored that she would choose to spend so many birthdays with her YogaFaith family and today is no different as she boards a plane back home. We are praising God for her, especially on this special day.

Today, a new family of world changers stepped off the mat and into their calling.

Our YogaFaith Master Immersion has come to a close, and we give God the glory for every soul sister who gathered from across the country this week to hear the Master’s Voice.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me (Isaiah 61:1, NIV), and we watched that anointing rest on this room, women stilling their hearts long enough to hear Him clearly, and leaving changed.

One graduate put it this way: “I have attended many trainings, but what I learned over this last week has been nothing short of life-changing and transformational wisdom. I can’t wait to share YogaFaith with my community.”

We believe yoga was never meant to be separated from the God who created breath itself, and this Immersion trained these graduates to teach with that conviction fully intact. They studied deep, they wept together, they laughed together, and they leave equipped to bring whole worship, body, breath, and stillness offered to the Lord, back to their own communities.

Congratulations to our newest graduates. Heaven is loud over you today, and so are we.
