Puget Sound Christian School Openings (Part Time with Full Time option)

Center Director Position
Seeking a qualified Christian individual to work as the Center Director at a small Christian Preschool/Daycare. This is a year round position that will constitute a 40 hour work week. The Center Director is responsible for ensuring that the center is operated according to WA State regulations and Early Achievers standards. This position requires a dedicated and positive person who can inspire and support a team to provide excellent care and outstanding customer service. In order to be considered for this position, you must meet all licensing requirements including: High School Diploma or Equivalent, CPR/FA Certification, CDA or Degree in Early Childhood Education or 47 ECE Credits, Previous management experience in a licensed child care facility required (at least 1 year), as well as computer experience, Microsoft Office, Excel, Publisher, and Word. Substitute Teacher for Preschool/Pre-K (Accepting Applications)
We are always seeking qualified applicants for substitute teaching. Substitute teaching assignments are on an as-needed basis. Substitute teachers should be comfortable teaching at any grade level. While many teacher absences are scheduled in advance, we cannot plan for illnesses and emergencies. Every effort will be made to contact the substitute teacher as soon as possible. However, substitute teachers may be called on short notice. Substitute teachers must have a current teaching license, emergency permit, or be in the process of obtaining a license in order to be considered. Experience with ABEKA is a plus.

Seeking a qualified individual to work as a Lead PreK Teacher with 4-5 year olds in the morning and Daycare Teacher with 3-12 year olds in the afternoon for a year round position. This position will be 30-40 hours per week.

Qualifications:
Must have an ECE Background (at least 6 months experience as Lead Teacher)
Current STARS/MERIT Training (10 Hour Annual Training)
30 Hour Basic ECE Training
CPR/First Aid Card
Blood Borne Pathogens/HIV/AIDS training Card
Food Handlers Card
Recent TB Test
Portable Background Check through DEL/DCYF

Knowledge of the Bible is a plus!
